I have been using this razor/trimmer for a few months now and I really enjoy the many functions and uses for it. It is great if you just want the stubble look by using the trimmer feature with out one of the three guards. It gets close and leaves just the right look the ladies seem to love!

This product works great for me. I'm a firefighter and have to shave and style daily for uniform requirements. This product provides be a quick and easy style every morning before work. Great for my Mustache and Sideburns. Quick snap on of the blade and clean shaved and ready for duty.

I love this product. It was my first time actually buying any type of electrical razor, and I have always used Gillette. So the when I heard about this product I had to get it, knowing this was their first attempt with an electric razor/groomer. It does all I need from facial to grooming of the body.

I brought this after reading packaging thinking value for money I would have rather brought a b and q hedge trimmer wouldn't cut my facial hair just pulled it and cut out every time never even got one use out of it very disappointed and will not use a Gillette product like this again !!!!!!!

I was recently given a free Gillette Fusion Proglide Styler Power Trimmer via a program run by Gillette. I already have a trimmer that I regularly use, but I thought it would be interesting to try out something new. I've had this trimmer for a few weeks, and if you're looking for a quick recommendation, then I can certainly say that the Proglide Styler is a great and versatile tool. However, if you're looking for an in-depth review, then read on. As a side note, this review only covers the trimmer even though it comes with a set of Proglide Power Blades. The first thing you'll notice about the trimmer is how well-built it is. The handle is larger in circumference than a traditional razor blade but it smaller than most traditional trimmers. Personally, the size of the handle suits me just fine. The handle, itself, is covered in an easy to grip rubber. You won't have any trouble gripping and holding on to this trimmer. In terms of appearance, the blue trim goes nicely with the traditional silver color that comes standard with most trimmers. The touch of blue might not seem like much, but it makes the product just look sleeker and more expensive. The trimmer is powered by a single AA battery, so there isn't a whole lot of weight to the trimmer although it also isn't so light that it becomes hard to handle. The trimming blades themselves work very nicely. The head of the trimmer is contoured in such a way that makes it easy to trim your facial hair. I used the trimmer for my mustache and goatee and had no trouble at all trimming around my lips and shaping my goatee. The single AA battery provides more than enough power to the trimmer, which allows you to trim and shave yourself cleanly. As for battery life, I've been using the trimmer every other day for the past 2-3 weeks, and the trimmer is still going strong. Some would probably prefer a rechargeable battery, and if that's the case, then it's easy enough to buy a pack of Sanyo Eneloop batteries. The trimmer also comes with 3 sets of guards for those that want to clean up their facial hair. There are some who might have preferred an adjustable guard, but in my opinion, the individual guards are the way to go. My previous trimmer had an adjustable guard that became unusable after a while because I pressed the guard too hard against my skin. The individual guards allow you to really do a thorough job of trimming your hair to an equal length. The largest guard is about one-half to three quarters of an inch, which is perfectly fine for me. However, if you like to grow your facial hair out longer, then this product won't work for that purpose. Although this product will primarily be used for facial hair trimming, the fact that it is waterproof means that you can use it in the shower to trim other areas of your body. I don't personally do this, but I can attest to the waterproof nature of this product as well as the well-built guards and strong power of the trimming blades. If you want to use this product to groom your body, then it will more than do the job provided that you are not looking to trim your hair to a length that is longer than the largest guard. The trimmer also comes with a base that holds the trimmer, guards and the blade (not reviewed here). The base is made of plastic, but it is sturdy and holds the trimmer and accessories without any problem. The base, itself, isn't very large. If bathroom counter space is sparse, it still shouldn't be difficult to find a spot for the base. Overall, I can't really find any flaws with this product other than the fact that it doesn't have a rechargeable battery. It is easy to handle, look sleek and performs well. I was passively looking for a new trimmer to replace my old one, so it was very nice to be able to get a free product from Gillette to try out. Based on my experience, I will continue to use this trimmer from here on out and would not hesitate to buy another one in the future.
