I've been using gillette razors for years,single double and multiple. Never had problems w/razor. To my surprise shaving cream/gel is not up to par. Quality of the gel is very good however cans loose pressure after several use.Never had this problem using Edge gel. i complaint already about it to costumer service but issue seems to be recurrent and is not being fixed. I see on this side that other complaint to have same problem.<

We bought the 3 pack from Sams and while the shaving gel works well, the cans leave rust rings on everything; one can leaked shaving gel all over the sink and counter and while that made an interesting sculpture it was a mess to clean up; and now we have had two cans explode while using them. Once the cans start leaking there is nothing you can do to stop it. We would like for Gillette to improve the cans rusting issues and the leaking or exploding issues.

It might help to know that while our cans are rust resistant, they are not rust proof and will rust if left in a wet environment. No problem with the gel, but twice I have had cans malfunction. Once, a seal burst, and all of the gel was pushed out of the upper sides, creating a huge mess. The other time, the pressure in the can just fizzled out early, leaving me with half a can of gel I could not use.

I bought a 3 pack from Sam's and all three cans ran out of propellant before they were halfway empty. Trying to clear the nozzle did NOTHING!!! Do not buy this until they fix the issue which obviously I am not alone in reporting. After all the reports of this failure, all they can say is "Oh Dear" and "call us".

Like your correspondent below, I have found hard-to-remove rust rings on the corner of the bathtub, where I leave my shaving cream. If the cans have a plastic coating, as you replied, it certainly isn't apparent. I like the shaving cream, but the rusting can bottom is a real drawback. Maybe you could ensure that ALL the cans are plastic coated, because the ones I bought weren't.

While the bottoms of our cans have a special plastic coating to make them rust resistant, but they are not rust-proof and the can will rust over time if it is stored in a damp or moist place (for example, on the side of a basin or in the shower). I love the shave cream however may need to change brands since I have now had three cans that were half full that have discharged on their own. Dispenser is also erratic, sometimes a light push dispenses too much other times holding the button down steady, and the foam just dribbles out.

I have now had 2 cans in a row that stop dispensing the shave cream even though the can is still full. I love the product but don't want to keep throwing away my money.

I bought a 3 pack of the Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive Shave Gel. I was only able to use the first can 2 or 3 times before it ran out of pressure with can still almost full. Haven't tried other cans yet to see if they last longer. For the price I'm very disappointed and would have expected better from this company.

Over the past three months I bought 2 cans of Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive Shave Gel. The first can stopped working at half way, thought it was a fluke bought a second can and it stopped working at 3/4's of the contents left. They both lost pressure preventing me from getting the gel out. The gel is great but is a waste of money if you can't use it all. Went back to Edge gel. I can see there are other complaints with the same issue. Gillette You Have A Problem With Your Product. Just think of the ones that do not take the time to complain.

This morning I tried a pin in the dispenser figuring the gel clogged it, but that didn't help. In frustration I went to the internet to see what the matter was and found all these negative reviews with the identical problem as me. It is reassuring (in a strange way) to find comfort in the number of people with the same problem, and nice to see Gillette's offer to help if I call the 800 number during office hours -- but this is the 2nd can I tossed in frustration, and I would like to know when will the issue be fixed please? This gel is simply the best and I want to keep buying it.

I bought a 3 pack at SAMs club and none of the three cans could be used past half full. They all rusted and lost pressure preventing me from getting the gel out. The gel is great but is a waste of money if you can't use it all. Went back to Edge gel.

Bought 3 can package of Fusion Proglide Gel. 1st can I set on the shower shelf only to find the can is steel and it left a rust ring on the fiberglass shelf. I then put it on a rack so it could no longer stain the shower. Second can has a defective dispenser button and takes extreme pressure to get a dribble out. 3rd can and 2nd can are headed to the landfill.
