Gillette Fusion is a Great Product, But..

I have a mixed review to pass along here. I bought 1 Gillette Fusion shaver with the 2 or 3 razors that came with the original set. I thought this was the greatest razor, especially since I went shaving my head as well. This Fusion did a great job. I went back to my local WalMart to by more fusion blades and did not leave the store with them because I could not afford them. I and 2 other men in the buying blades at the same time all decided on different products that day and we we're all driven by price. One guy had not used the Gillette Fusion system yet. I told him I thouhgt did a fantastic job but he needed to be prepared to pay the price. None of the 3 of us bought Fusion that day.. Great product - just to high priced...

Having shaved for over 30 years, i've used a lot of different razors, bot manual and electric and this is by for the best shave out there. When combined with their (Gillette) shave gel, you get a close, clean shave with almost little to no irritation or discomfort. Love it!

It's the best razor I have every used, and I'm 50 years old. And I love the fact that it has the indicator strip (which actually works!!!) to let me know if it's new or been used for awhile. Great work to all those working at Gillette, can't wait for your nest GREAT innovation!

I LOVE this razor. Everyone in the house has there own. I have 4 teenagers in the house. They already told me to make sure I put the GILLETTE FUSION RAZOR in there stockings. I have every year! I love it . I will not use nothing else. I'm really happy because this razor was what my son used to shave for the first time. He has not cut himself yet. Thanks Gillette!

What makes Fusion Power better than MACH3 is 8 years of shaving innovation, Gillette Fusion Power is an advanced shaving system with technology on the front and back. How does the Gillette Fusion Power handle compare with the M3Power handle?

Compared to M3Power, Gillette Fusion Power contains significant enhancements to both the inside and outside of the razor handle. • On the inside: Unlike M3Power, the Gillette Fusion Power handle contains a Microchip. The Microchip improves the system’s performance and brings electronics to wet shaving for the first time ever. The Microchip enables three primary functions: the Voltage Controller, the Low Battery Indicator Light, and the Automatic Shut-Off feature.• On the outside: The on/off button on the Fusion Power handle has been optimized. The button is now flush with the razor’s surface and is positioned lower on the handle. This enhanced design helps prevent accidental activation or deactivation while shaving. The handle also contains more elastomer than M3 Power. The elastomer extends around the entire razor handle, giving users a more secure grip for enhanced comfort and control.

What is the Microchip and how does it work

A battery-powered razor delivers an optimal shave when the voltage and frequency remain consistent shave after shave. Over the lifetime of the battery, the voltage can weaken, reducing frequency and therefore performance. The Microchip maintains constant voltage and frequency over the lifetime of the battery, delivering consistent product performance every time you shave.

How does the Low Battery Indicator Light work?

When a battery reaches a certain level, the oscillation frequency declines and the system is no longer capable of delivering the optimal shave. The Microchip inside Gillette Fusion Power senses when the battery is approaching this level. When this happens, the Low Battery Indicator Light begins to flash, signaling that it’s time to change the AAA battery.

What is the Automatic Shut-Off feature?

The Automatic Shut-Off feature turns the razor off after roughly 8 minutes of continuous operation. This feature protects the battery if the razor is accidentally activated, especially when traveling.

Does movement of the razor give men a better shave?

With the introduction of battery-powered razors, Gillette has opened a new chapter in wet shaving. The addition of oscillation to Gillette wet shaving systems has been shown to deliver a “boost” in shaving performance. The soothing micropulses helps provide great comfort and closeness.

For best results, should the power be turned on or off when using the Precision Trimmer Blade?

The Precision Trimmer Blade can be used with the power turned on or off. Preference varies from person to person. Using the Precision Trimmer Blade with or without power is an individual choice.

What type of battery does Gillette Fusion Power use? How long does it last?

Similar to M3POWER, Gillette Fusion Power utilizes an AAA battery. With the Low Battery Indicator Light, Gillette Fusion Power will let you know when it’s time to change the battery. Assuming average shaving, the battery should last approximately 3—6 months.

Is it safe to shave with Gillette Fusion Power in the shower?

Yes. Gillette Fusion Power is watertight and totally safe to use in wet environments.

Can I get electrocuted if Gillette Fusion Power is submerged in water?

No. Gillette Fusion Power is safe to use in water.
