Bought this "just to see"... Glad I did.... my whiskers grow in ALL directions.. with a regular "unpowered" razor have to scrape at least 3 directions... With this razor... one..at the most 2 passes and am shaved.

The swivel head base does NOT provide for a sturdy or close shave safely. The Atra head was the best they made for safety

I was skeptical because they keep changing these things once I get used to them. But this power razor Fusion is very long lasting. I change blades maybe once every 10 wks. And I shave every weekday and once per weekend. It must be the 5 blades why I keep gettign great shave, the 4th and 5th blade do the cutting further into the cycle without the 1st and 2nd getting dull and cutting. The blades are expensive and hard to find on sale or coupons for but they are worth it.

I've used Gillette Fusion Power and ProGlide for years now. I don't use the ProGlide because it can be too sharp. The Fusion Power is also too sharp when first take a blade out. Other than that, it is the best razor pound for pound. Every morning, I pretend I'm in a commerical. LOL!

I have loved this Razor since it came out. I have tried other razors just to try, or because it was free, but I feel like this is the best for my dollar. Love the glide, love the feel after I shave, and I love how long a single shave will last. I have even got my wife using this razor and she will probably never change either.

I've used this razor for years as has my wife, daughter, and now my son. The additional blades and the power really come together to make for a smooth shave. At $4.50 per blade it is a little pricey though.

The only down fall is the price of blades. Could use better coupons. We don't always need a new razor. Just refills. The razor last a long time. But blades don't last a a strong beard.

What makes Fusion Power better than MACH3 is 8 years of shaving innovation. Gillette Fusion Power is an advanced shaving system with technology on the front and back. It shares the same core cartridge technology as Gillette Fusion: the 5 Blade Shaving Surface Technology, the Precision Trimmer Blade, the Flexible Comfort Guard, and the Indicator Lubrastrip. Gillette Fusion Power contains a blade coating that reduces the cutting force over Fusion Manual, providing incredible glide and comfort while shaving. In addition, Fusion features an enhanced lubricating indicator strip that fades to white when you may no longer be getting an optimal shave. Gillette Fusion Power contains a Microchip inside the razor handle. The Microchip creates an entirely different platform of technology that helps drive the system's performance.

Compared to M3Power Gillette Fusion Power contains significant enhancements to both the inside and outside of the razor handle. On the inside: Unlike M3Power, the Gillette Fusion Power handle contains a microchip. The microchip enables three primary functions: the Voltage Controller, the Low Battery Indicator Light and the Automatic Shut-Off feature. On the outside: The on/off button on the Fusion Power handle has been optimized. The button is flush with the razor's surface and is positioned lower on the handle. This enhanced design helps prevent accidental activation or deactivation while shaving. The handle also contains more elastomer than M3Power. The elastomer extends around the entire razor handle, giving users a more secure grip for enhanced comfort and control.

A battery-powered razor delivers an optimal shave when the voltage and frequency remain consistent shave after shave. Over the lifetime of the battery, the voltage can weaken, reducing frequency and therefore performance. The Microchip in Gillette Fusion Power maintains constant voltage and frequency over the lifetime of the battery, delivering consistent product performance every time you shave.

When a battery reaches a certain level, the oscillation frequency declines and the system is no longer capable of delivering the optimal shave.
