I have used the mach 3 for the longest time, LOVED the razor although it seemed i had to replace cartridges frequently. I tried some other razors and was disappointed by the irritation or how long they lasted. Reluctantly tried this RAZOR and I LOVE it!! it lasts a long time gives a close and smooth shave without causing any irritation. I will not be changing any time soon. I really feel that this is one of the best razors on the market.

This razor is marketed towards men but I am a woman who has found that men's razors just work better! This is the best though. Nice, smooth shave with no pain, nicks, or irritated skin. I would definitely recommend it to men and women alike.

I have been using this razor for many years now. I still own the older 3 blades MACH razors. I find the ProGlide to have just a slight better performance than its 3 blade predecessor. The single blade on opposite side of cartridge is handy and performs well on tight areas or where precision is needed. I still find my old MACH to be just as good but the ProGlide cost about the same so I buy cartridges for the newer often. I do not find the ProGlide to give a closer shave than the MACH 3. My only con with the Fusion series is cost. It is way overpriced.

My husband loves this razor but unfortunately the refill cartridges are too expensive for us to afford. I have even used this razor before and I like it too!

This is a great razor when it's sharp. After a few uses it gets a bit dull and then feels like all the other razors I've used before.

i was a mach3 user, but I got this as sample and man I was amazed to see how smooth the shave was. It goes against the grain also very easily. I recommend it but check the blade prices.

This razor is great, I only wish they were not so expensive to own. I shave my face and head daily, if you go by the lubricating strip indicator for blade life, I would be changing blades twice a week.

Warm water is best for hydrating beard hair. Soaking in warm water softens hair and causes it to expand, making it 70% easier to cut.
alt What is the best way to avoid razor burn?
If the skin is not properly prepared before shaving or if the blade on your razor is dull, you are more likely to end up with razor burn. Make sure to hydrate hair in warm water for up to three minutes and apply plenty of shave gel. Also, be sure to change the blade on your razor at the first sign of dullness or discomfort.

For both hygiene and performance, it's not a good idea to share your razor with your partner. The area above the upper lip is tricky for many men. To help avoid nicks and cuts, always leave it for last. Apply plenty of shave gel or shaving cream and allow this area to soak up as much lather as possible. When shaving, don't apply too much pressure.
