I tried this razor today. I normally use the fusion. I think the fusion feels better on the face and isn't as harsh on the face.

I have used Gillette razors for over 20 years. The ProGlide is the best I have ever used. I get an extremely close shave and don't get razor burn, as I do when forced to use other razors. I even had to replace mine on several occasions because my boys permanently borrowed mine.

I had high hopes for this razor since I started shaving my head (and face/chest). I needed an "everything razor", basically. This had decent reviews so I thought I would give it a shot. I have been extremely disappointed with this razor. Compared to the Mach 3 I had, this is just pullpullpullpull. Almost makes it painful. I should have just purchased more blades for the Mach3 instead of purchasing this razor and a pack of blades. Seriously. It misses spots that I go over several times. I thought the more blades the better, but I guess I was wrong.

Gillette has always made great razors. I ended up buying this razor b/c I accidently bought refills for this instead of the regular fusion. The regular Fusion is better, but I still like my ProGlide.

I liked the handle. The grips made it easy to hold when it was slick or wet. I was able to get a good grip to get a firm shave from start to finish. The round handle is definately a win.

i like to shave in the shower and i found this razor to be very hard to hold i think the handle is to small for me to get a good grip on and when the handle gets wet it becomes very slick i dropped it several time i would not recommend this product

I just got to they the Gillette fusion proglide free via a program run though gillette and loved it. The handle was easy to hold and I had a great grip of it while shaving. The contour of the Handel was very comfortable and made my shaving experience good.

After receiving the Gillette ProGlide Razor to try for free I am very impressed. The handle is metal which made it feel much like using a small hand tool and less like a razor. I fully expected it to be heavy and clumsy but, it was quite easy to maneuver due to the raised grips on the handle. This made it very comfortable to use at odd angles to get some of the difficult to shave places like under the nose. The round grip was easier to manipulate than the square disposable razor handles.

Warm water is best for hydrating beard hair. Soaking in warm water softens hair and causes it to expand, making it 70% easier to cut.
alt What is the best way to avoid razor burn?
If the skin is not properly prepared before shaving or if the blade on your razor is dull, you are more likely to end up with razor burn. Make sure to hydrate hair in warm water for up to three minutes and apply plenty of shave gel. Also, be sure to change the blade on your razor at the first sign of dullness or discomfort.
alt Is it okay to let my girlfriend or wife borrow my men’s razor?
For both hygiene and performance, it's not a good idea to share your razor with your partner. The area above the upper lip is tricky for many men. To help avoid nicks and cuts, always leave it for last.
