Fusion ProGlide Hydra Smooth Shave Gel

I love your product. My husband and I both used it for some years! I would highly reccomend it for anyone with course hair. I have, however, encountered a problem with the cans. The last two I purchased have foamed around the head instead of the nozzle. Gillettes Gel has become our go to product. My husband loves the clear.

I try to save money by buying in bulk at BJ’s Membership Club but will never shop there again as Gillette Hydra Gel is the only shaving cream they carry. There are two major flaws with this product and I’m not the only one to point these out: Whatever protective coating is put on the bottom of the can isn’t sufficient to keep it from rusting, so within a few days of using the can in my shower, rings of rust appear wherever it is set. This has happened with every can I’ve used. The second major flaw is that the can has all or none pressure – way too much comes out when you first use the can. You can’t control the release of gel, wasting huge amounts as it explodes from the can. Within just a few uses, the pressure has dropped to almost nothing and while the can is still quite full, the gel only oozes out at a terribly slow rate. It’s basically impossible to use at this point and must be thrown away. I’ve always used Edge products in the past and now realize why. Their can bottoms never rust and their pressure is consistent from beginning to end. I don’t know how Gillette can remain in business selling such a completely worthless product and hope others wake up to how they are ripping off the public.

First a 2-pack from Walmart and then a 3-pack from Sams Club. In all 5 cans, the dispenser stopped working within a few weeks of use. I am super annoyed with this kind of a quality control. I saved the last 2 cans as proof and will return them to Sams Club. When you charge premium price on your products, we expect premium quality.

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A DOUBLE PACK OF THIS PRODUCT FROM WALMART. THE FIRST CAN I TRIED TO USE WOULD HARDLY DISPENSE ANY GEL. YOU COULD SHAKE THE CAN FOREVER AND IT WOULD DISPENSE VERY LITTLE AND SOMETIMES NONE. I TRIED TO USE THIS SEVERAL TIMES WITH THE SAME RESULTS. I HAD NO PROBLEM WHEN I USED THE OTHER CAN. THIS MAKES IT VERY EXPENSIVE WHEN YOU GET JUST HALF A PRODUCT.

Product produces great results. Unfortunately I do not have the patience required because products takes to long to dispense from can. It appears that there is not sufficient pressure in can to dispense product in a timely basis. I have tried two different can with the same resuslts.

Fantastic product. I have a very coarse beard and this product along with the proglide allowed for an effortless shave. I love the fact that I had no nicks or cut when I was done. Amazing!
