1. What does “definition” mean?

   This is style lingo for being able to distinguish between individual locks of hair. Gillette Stylers that give hair definition include Precision Putty, Sculpting Paste and Mess Constructor.

2. What does “matte” mean?

   Styling products with a matte finish deliver a low-shine end look. In general, guys with normal to oily hair don’t need extra shine from their stylers and are better off using matte products. Gillette Stylers with a matte finish include Mess Constructor and Precision Putty.

3. What do “piecey” and “chunky” mean?

4. What are the differences between Gillette Shampoos and most other shampoos?

   Gillette has a long history of knowing men best, and we’ve applied our understanding of their needs to develop our six new shampoos. 6. How do I know if I have oily hair?

   The amount of oil the body naturally releases into hair varies from person to person. This oil can give hair a shiny look, but when too much builds up, it can cause the hair to look flat or greasy. For oily buildup, we recommend Gillette Deep Cleaning Shampoo. Conditioning, if done at all, needs to be applied with a light touch and rinsed thoroughly to avoid more build-up.

7. How do I know if I have dry hair?

   Because it lacks sufficient oil, dry hair can be coarse to the touch and may appear dull. Dry hair can be conditioned by using Gillette Clean + Thick Shampoo along with Hydrating Conditioner.

8. How can I make my hair more manageable?

   We know it's hard to be at your best when your hair isn't. Your daily routine or even the climate you live in may be robbing your hair of moisture.
